Slieve Bloom Storytelling Festival

Visitors to the Slieve Blooms will discover a new landscape of the imagination in these mountains and local people will rediscover the magic of the stories of their own place through the art of storytelling which will be brought to you by great storytellers, some local, who have all developed a keen interest in the revival of storytelling by featuring at the Storytelling Festivals in Ireland.

Ballinsloe Horse Fair & Festival

The equestrian events combine the old traditions of the Fair on the Fair Green and promotes the Irish sport Horse & Pony in modern competitions, also held on the sand area on the Green. The side shows, music & entertainment, on the streets are all free of charge with every need catered for.
