Joe and Geraldine Kirwan have been offering a welcome to guests at Keeraun Hill since 1994 and many of their guests return regularly to enjoy their hospitality. The houses are located on a dairy and beef working farm.

Keeraun Hill has proven to be extremely popular with anglers, due its proximity to the majestic River Shannon and a host of smaller rivers and the Grand Canal. Lough Derg, a magnificent fishing lake on the Shannon is also within easy reach.

During the evenings Banagher is renowned for its ‘watering holes’ - local singers and traditional music can be heard along the Main Street and if you don’t pay them a visit you will have missed a great deal of the heart and soul in the ‘rounding off’ of a typical Irish day.
